I find joy in the spontaneity of creating. The whimsical center panel inspired this piece. I explored layering marks to create patterns, then added stitching to add texture. The diverse stitches reflect the hues found in nature, from the serene calm of sky to the mysterious depths of ocean.

 

Technique – Hand dyed and screen-printed center panel, machine and hand quilting
