I finally made it to the Somers Farmers Market yesterday. I was the 100th shopper so I won a pumpkin! While I was there I put together a u-pick bouquet and got farm fresh veggies and meat. It was a win-win! When the flowers fade I will try some batch dying.

Sad to see summer coming to an end but as I cleaned out my flower bed I decided to simmer the marigolds. I now have some dye labeled and saved in the refrigerator for a day I need a little sunshine.
